A small thought about Atheists

Thursday, March 6, 2008 · 4 Comments

Once again, I go to check digg, and find that a pro-Atheist story is #1.

I find that Atheists piss me off more than people who have organized religion. Evolution is a theory, and so is the big bang. Do you seriously think that all that you see before you was created at random? Do you honestly believe that the universe is one big mistake?

Think for yourself for once for god’s sake.

Question Everything!

100 reasons why Agnosticism is right!

100 Reasons why evolution is so stupid

I found this video on digg. basically the guy goes through evolution and the big bang and points out some errors in them. Which is fine, because nobody ever said it was truth. but he then makes the logical fallacy of concluding that because the current theory of evolution is wrong, the bible must be right.

Let me say right here. There are no answers on this planet for you if you are looking for universal truth. Nobody knows anything, and our theories are just as good as they were 2000+ years ago (Christianity). Mankind will probably never know for sure what the universal truth is.

The only answers you will find are those that require you to believe (religion) and therefore cannot be proven with logic.

Why I am Agnostic

Tuesday, February 20, 2007 · 1 Comment

Recently I changed my religious views on facebook and myspace to reflect agnostic. And here’s why.

Each person has their own religious beliefs. Every person in the world. That’s 6.6billion. To have a religious belief is to believe that it is truth and that it is the only truth. And each person customizes their own beliefs to their own way of believing them. That is to say, that each person has their own beliefs, even if they belong to a certain church.

That means that there are 6.6 billion ways of describing the world, a higher power(s), and the absolute truth to existence. And you are telling me that your’s is the right one?

I am not right, you are not right, no one is right. But to be agnostic is to acknowledge that there is no way of knowing the true answer. Not the answer that you think is true, but the truth for all of mankind. 6.6billion people’s truth.

Saying that I am agnostic is saying this. I have no idea how the universe started, and what invisible powers / forces govern all living things and so forth. I believe that the truth of existence is unknown and abstract.

Everyone will find their own truth to believe in, but this is mine.
