The photo gallary is pretty cool too. It makes it look like bohn hall is out in the middle of no-where.

Complaints about the new blog

It has come to my attention several times (Alex, Bern, Joff) that there are certain complaints about my blog. Allow me to address them here in this post
1st of all, let it be said that My blog is my blog. Where i choose to do my blogging is my own choice. And the choice of wordpress has been made. That said..
1) Personal Substance.
I know there has been a drop in personal posts on my blog recently. But consider this. Until now, my blog entries have been limited to the same computer. And by the time i get back to my room, i am already knee deep in new RSS feed items, and my head is filled with geeky-ness.
But with the freedom of wordpress, i can make (more) personal entries at work, in berns room, in the library, where-ever! And i promise THEY ARE COMING! I'm not going to write 20 over-night so hang in there
2) Lack of optical stimulation
If you want color, here it is. Hence the flexibly of wordpress. One click, change color options, whole new look. Easy.
Any other feedback (Positive or negative) is welcome, but be aware that i am here at wordpress, and i don't plan on changing anytime soon.
Kingdom Hearts II: Gimme Gimme Gimme!

No, i haven’t played it yet. But the commercial gives me chills, just like the first KH commercial did. Though, the real magic of the first commercial, was the theme they chose, set to the footage, followed by all the disney characters, and the voice over “You never know who you’re going to run into next”. Oooooo. Can’t say that i am a fan of KHII’s Theme music in the commercial, or at least, as big of a fan as i was of the original KH theme.
I can’t wait to play this version. Steamboat Mickey will be there! Tron! Its going to be so kicking.
I never got the urge to beat the GBA one though. And i understand the GBA version is a parrallel sequal or something, between KH and KHII. I never got into the whole Card/Action/RPG thing. If you want to make a card game, give me a card game. Otherwise the game was more work than it was fun in my opinion.
But hopefully I can fully enjoy KHII when i finally get it, without having previously beaten KH Chain of Memories.

Fire Alarm Madness

First I tossed and turned in bed last night for about 2 hours before i fell asleep. After losing 2 hours of sleep, i was rudely awakened an hour before my alarm went off by the Bohn Hall fire alarm. at 5:00 am
"You've got to be freaking kidding me"
But what i thought would only be 10 mins - 30 mins as usual, turned out to last for 3 hours!
The previous flickr post was made in good spirits, but alas we were homeless. And we were also showcased on channels 11, 4, and 7 news this morning. Because for the first time in a while, we actually had fire trucks report to a fire!
Yes, apparantly the 7th floor was filled with black smoke, and the emergency sprinklers did go off, so no word yet (that i've heard) about the condition of peoples things on the 7th floor.
But finally after 3 hours, i was able to get my things, and go to work. A great start to a great day!
(notice the personal nature of this post, meaning that it relates to me and not technology :-D)
